Garden Expo
Emmet County MSU Extension, Northern Michigan Master Gardeners Association and Emmet County’s Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 5TH Annual Garden Expo at the Emmet County Fairgrounds.
This year’s Expo will be bigger and better than ever and admission and all events are still FREE. This year, coupons will be given for a chance at door prizes to everyone who brings a donation of non-perishable food items for our local food banks.
Lectures will take place in the Community Center featuring gardening experts on a variety of new topics throughout the expo.
Gardening demonstrations will take place outside under the canopy.
In addition, from noon until 3 p.m. “Second Chance Around,” a classic country band, will be entertaining Expo visitors. Brother Dan’s Food Pantry will be hosting a concession stand for a quick bite between lectures, demonstrations and vendor booths.
