Town Hall Meeting for Airport Construction Project

Location: Board of Commissioners meeting room in the county building, 200 Division St., Petoskey

All contractors wishing to bid on the SRE/ARFF building to be constructed at Pellston Regional Airport are invited to attend a “town hall” meeting with the construction manager, architect and Emmet County officials.

It will be hosted by representatives from DeVere Construction, the construction management firm overseeing the project, and Mead & Hunt, the architectural firm. During the session, interested contractors will learn about the specifications of the project and how to work within the parameters set by the Federal Aviation Administration and the federal and state agencies which are funding the majority of the project through grants.
